IBC SOLAR presents high-class anniversary module at Intersolar Europe 2022

New IBC SOLAR module with extended product warranty and TOPCon technology

Bad Staffelstein, 3 May 2022 – IBC SOLAR, a leading full-service provider of SOLAR energy solutions, is presenting a new high-quality PV module from IBC SOLAR’s own brand at this year’s Intersolar Europe in Munich. Designed for the company’s 40th anniversary, the IBC MonoSol 415/420 MS-HC-N module with an output of 415 or 420 watts achieves outstanding efficiency levels thanks to the latest TOPCon cell technology. IBC SOLAR grants an extra-long product warranty of 15 years and 40 months for the module that is specially designed for the residential sector.

Powerful and reliable – the new IBC SOLAR anniversary module impresses with its efficiency and quality. The monocrystalline cells in M10 wafer format are based on the novel TOPCon technology, providing an improved temperature efficiency and a very high module efficiency of 21.51%. This increases the module output on the same surface compared to conventional PERC cells. Furthermore, the module is particularly reliable, as the n-type cell concept has proven to reduce degradation caused by LID and LeTID effects.

Longevity guaranteed – in addition to the advanced technology, the module with a black 30 mm aluminum hollow chamber frame also offers advantages regarding warranty duration. The use of high-quality materials delays the weather-related ageing process, which enhances the service life of the module. IBC SOLAR provides a linear performance warranty for this module for 30 years. There is also a product warranty of 15 years, and on the occasion of its 40th anniversary extends it by further 40 months.

The IBC MonoSol 415/420 MS-HC-N anniversary module can be used with all IBC SOLAR mounting systems and be mounted on all roof types. With a certified pressure and suction load of 5400 Pa/2400 Pa (pressure/suction) it can withstand even highest wind and snow loads.

As usual, the newest member of the IBC SOLAR module family has also undergone an extensive series of tests in the SUNLAB PV test laboratory, including stress and climate chamber tests. The module moreover holds the official IEC certification of TÜV Rheinland and has successfully passed further external quality tests, such as light-induced degradation (LID) conducted by Fraunhofer ISE.
