Era:powerbase: Start storing now!

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, May 4, 2020 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage extends the portfolio with the new high-voltage storage era:powerbase. Introduced for the first time at Intersolar 2019, the smart storage is now commercially available. Together with the energy platform efa:home and green electricity tariff efa:fair, IBC SOLAR now offers its customers the opportunity to obtain 100 percent renewable electricity. In a first step, IBC SOLAR will launch the new high-voltage storage system in Germany.

Smart, flexible and expandable

Equipped with three to six battery modules, the special feature of the new high-voltage storage device is its modular structure and expandable capacity from 7.5 to 15.0 kWh. This enables flexible and individual adaptation of the storage to the needs of the user. If living conditions and thus energy consumption change, for example due to the purchase of an electric car, era:powerbase can easily be expanded with additional battery modules. The expansion of the storage capacity is possible over the entire lifetime and, unlike previous storage models, also takes effect when the cell generation changes.

Quick and easy installation

era:powerbase was designed for quick and easy one-man installation. In addition, the smart high-voltage storage "Made in Germany" combines the highest quality and safety. Manufactured exclusively in Germany, the storage batteries are subject to strict quality criteria and tests. IBC SOLAR thus sets high standards throughout the industry.
