Changes in the management of IBC SOLAR AG

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, June 04, 2020 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage, announces personnel and structural changes to its management as of 1 June 2020.

Dr. Fred Friedmann who has been working as the company’s COO since 1 May 2018 is leaving the Executive Board on 31st May 2020.

Following Dr. Fred Friedmann, Stefan Horstmann is appointed to the Executive Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as from 1 June 2020. He will form the full Executive Board along with CEO Udo Möhrstedt and CFO Lars Degendorfer.

Most recently, Mr. Horstmann worked as Group Director Supply Chain for the Vaillant Group. Before that, he gained many years of experience as Head of Group IT. At IBC SOLAR AG, Stefan Horstmann is responsible for Logistics, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Product Management, IT, Processes & Organisation.
