IBC SOLAR sets sails for project business in India

German EPC service contractor is moving into PV project development / Company participates in Solar Finance Tour India Conference from Oct 8th-9th

 

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, September 24, 2015 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems, is taking the next step: With an excellent track record as bankable EPC contractor, the company is now moving into project business development in India. For several years, the German PV system provider has been achieving successes with the planning and implementation of international large-scale solar plants, such as in Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Portugal, India, Malaysia and other countries. In India the company is now using its outstanding reputation and expertise to expand its portfolio as a project developer and financer. During the Solar Finance Tour India Conference in Hyderabad, IBC SOLAR will present its lessons learned.
 
Currently IBC SOLAR is assessing cooperation with different project developers in the segment of 20 MW to 50 MW projects. Besides this, the company is supplementing its portfolio of equity investments partners. Leveraging on its experience in the German trade and project market as well as in growing international markets for large-scale PV projects, the company can build on a good reputation in India, based on its network of financing institutions, its solvency, and full control over costs, quality and timing, which raise the bankability of every single project. By entering into the development process with developers in an early stage, IBC SOLAR aims to add expertise on the financing side, both on the equity as well as on the debt side.
