IBC SOLAR adds new solar module "Made in Germany" to portfolio

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, July 15, 2014 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic systems, has expanded its IBC PremiumLine module range to include the polycrystalline solar module IBC PolySol GX in the performance classes 250 to 260 Wp. The module is manufactured in Germany and, along with tried and tested mounting systems from IBC SOLAR, is a real team player as far as profitability is concerned.

Aside from holding the title "Made in Germany", the modules from the IBC Polysol GX range also impress by offering exceptional value for money and having an excellent module efficiency of up to 15.9 percent. With their anti-reflection coated solar glass they capture even more light and therefore generate a particularly high yield. The new module also stands out with its high mechanical strength – yet the IBC PolySol GX is still lightweight and easy to handle, measuring 1654 x 989 mm and weighing just 18.2 kg.

The module can be used flexibly during assembly and can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Its format ensures the best possible utilisation of space and makes it the ideal choice for use in solar power systems for single-family households and carports. The module can be assembled very quickly using very little material in combination with a short-rail system such as the IBC TopFix 200 trapezoidal system Eco – this saves both time and money.

The new German IBC PremiumLine modules impress with their performance, efficiency and reliability. As is the case with all IBC SOLAR modules, the IBC PolySol GX has undergone extensive performance tests in IBC SOLAR’s own quality control laboratory before becoming part of the PV specialist's product portfolio. This includes long-term load tests in the climate chamber as well as tests with flashers with integrated electroluminescence measurement. Furthermore, IBC SOLAR certifies solar module manufacturers according to a comprehensive catalogue of criteria. In addition to this, upon receipt of goods all products are verified according to the process based on DIN ISO 2859-1 in an attempt to ensure quality standards are met over a sustained period of time.
