Energy Europe 2013: IBC SOLAR Showcases Its Products And Services

IBC SOLAR takes part in this year’s international renewable energies fair in Copenhagen

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, May 13th, 2013 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems, will present its innovative products and solutions at Energy Europe 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark, from the 23rd to 25th May (stand C2-030). With over 250 specialist exhibitors from 15 countries and an estimated 15,000 visitors, the fair is the perfect platform to present information about IBC SOLAR’s comprehensive portfolio of PV solutions.

The abolition in November 2012 of “net metering” and the announcement in March 2013 that feed-in tariffs for open field systems will be reduced has generated a great deal of uncertainty about the future of photovoltaics in Denmark. As far as IBC SOLAR is concerned, the PV industry in Denmark remains a worthwhile investment, particularly when it comes to commercial customers like farmers. “Our conversations with customers at an event in the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy in Hurup Thy last April only confirmed this conviction,” reiterates Antje Anzi, Director of International Sales at IBC SOLAR. Furthermore, the Danish Government has announced its firm commitment to renewable energies. The intention is to reduce fossil fuel consumption by one third and increase the share of renewable energy to 33% between 2009 and 2020.

According to Mrs Anzi, at this year’s fair IBC SOLAR’s main focus will be on commercial roof installations, with farms being a prime example. “Through our Danish Premium Partners we are able to offer full service from a single source, from planning installations, to long-term maintenance and sustaining profitability. We are also on the lookout for new Premium Partners, in order to strengthen our presence in the market.”

The PV specialist guarantees its partners a reliable supply of high-quality products, unique service and access to the know-how and experience of one of the pioneers of the PV industry. At the Energy Europe 2013 fair, visitors will have the chance to also talk to one of IBC SOLAR’s Danish Premium Partners: Enrico Volke and his company, Rico’s Byg Aps, will also be attending the show. At a separate stand (C4-017A) together with the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy, Volke will offer information about solar energy storage with the SolStore solution.

With over thirty years of experience in the PV market, IBC SOLAR is perfectly positioned to handle all aspects of a photovoltaic project, from engineering planning, procurement and contracting, to long-term maintenance and quality control, which ensures a fast return on investment. The PV expert is internationally established, with subsidiaries and partners in important and growing international markets, like Sweden, the Netherlands and Austria.
