Internships and thesis work

Name: Gyslaine Calbia-Tchoua

Year: 2016/2017

Course of Studies: Future Energies

University: Ostwestfalen-lippe

Semester: 7

My name is Calbia-Tchoua Gyslaine and I am studying Future energies at the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe. As part of my studies, IBC SOLAR offered me the opportunity so that I could apply my theoretical knowledge in practice.

In the course of my studies, I was always enthusiastic about photovoltaics, so I chose the photovoltaic industry for my internship.

During my stay at IBC SOLAR, I worked in the area of project development / EPC International. Only international projects are developed here. For example, I have been involved intensively in a project from Japan. In this project I have accumulated many experiences about the construction of a PV plant. I have learned in detail how the construction of a PV plant has to be done. In addition, I have to take into account the different conditions and precautions in order to achieve a good yield of the plant after the construction. In addition, I have also dealt with the measurements of the cable lengths to determine the cable losses.

To create the planning and other important details, AutoCAD is the most widely used software. Almost all the time I've always done the work with AutoCAD. And I am very happy to work with this software.

My experience with IBC SOLAR in the EPC international is unforgettable. All the staff were very nice and open, always already to me and to help me. I really enjoyed the cooperation. The working environment was very pleasant, a good prerequisite for learning and integration in the company. I really enjoyed the task.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for the friendly welcome to the IBC family, the helpfulness of the staff and the good times that I have spent here.

With sunny greetings
