IBC SOLAR brings electricity even to the most remote locations

New PV module IBC SoloSol provides autarchic power to garden houses or weather stations

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, November 7th, 2013 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic systems, expands its range of grid-independent solar power solutions and introduces the new photovoltaic (PV) module IBC SoloSol. The module is specifically designed for ready-made solar systems to provide autarchic power for smaller applications. Therefore it is included in the package of pre-assembled IBC SoloHome Kits, which consist of optimally coordinated components and can be easily installed for immediate use.

IBC SoloSol is the company’s first PV module specifically designed for off-grid power supply. IBC SoloSol suits complete systems for smaller applications, thus it is ideal for installations which would otherwise struggle to source electricity, such as garden houses or mountain cabins. With a power base of 36 cells, IBC SoloSol is half the size of standard modules and therefore easy to install on small surfaces. Furthermore, it will fit the needs of target installations with lower energy requirements. IBC SoloSol is available as a monocrystalline or polycrystalline module, and has a voltage of 18V, meaning that a backup 12V battery can be charged by solar power as additional component of the system.

For a sustainable and continuous supply, IBC SOLAR offers ready-made IBC SoloHome Kits, specifically designed to ensure out-of-the-box energy production. These kits complement IBC SOLAR’s existing product range of PV Hybrid products and tailor-made independent PV systems to provide power to a wide array of even remote locations – not only for private but also for industrial or business applications such as weather stations or traffic guidance systems.

The IBC SoloHome Kits come in a series of different sizes and versions, are network independent and can be used in all parts of the world. On arrival, the kit comprises of coordinated components and all the materials required for its installation: IBC SoloSol PV modules, charge controller and inverter as well as battery and cables. The kits are immediately available and are ready for out-of-the-box use.

As with all IBC SOLAR products, the system concept has top priority: Continuous quality assurance, compatible systems and personal consultation through IBC SOLAR’s Premium Partners guarantee a particularly long service life with a maximum of output, efficiency and reliability.
