For maximum stability: The new AeroFlat by IBC SOLAR

Market launch of the new roof-parallel, aerodynamic mounting system for the commercial area

Bad Staffelstein, July 11, 2019 – IBC SOLAR, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage, is enhancing its mounting system portfolio with the new IBC AeroFlat. The system was especially designed for foil and bituminous roofs and guarantees maximum stability.

The new mounting system AeroFlat is an extension of our well-known IBC AeroFix and allows mounting without penetrating the roof. The roof-parallel, aerodynamic system is especially designed for commercial foil and bituminous roofs and can be used up to 30 degrees roof pitch and up to 35 meters roof height.

Minimum risk for roof penetration and maximum stability – this is what AeroFlat stands for. The ballasted mounting system was successfully tested in I.F.I. (Institution for Industrial Aerodynamic) boundary layer wind tunnel. The 18 centimeter wide base rail allows a wide contact surface. This results in an optimum distribution of loads and causes only very low pressure on the insulation. Moreover, the base rail distances and module orientation are individually selectable.

The IBC AeroFlat is now available in store.
